HISTORY OF

The RPG, or Rocket-Propelled Grenade, is a family of portable, shoulder-fired anti-tank weapons originally designed in the Soviet Union during the mid-20th century. These are designed to fire rockets or grenades at armored vehicles and fortifications. When fired, the rocket is propelled by a backblast created by the rocket motor, and it follows a trajectory to the target.

One of the most iconic RPGs is the RPG-7, which was introduced in the 1960s and has been widely used by military forces and insurgent groups around the world. It is known for its simplicity, reliability, and effectiveness against armored vehicles.
